Busy busy days with Christmas approaching fast, but I have just about found time to share with everyone, what’s been going on at Sportin MS.
The launch of our second Podcast, Tiasha’s Story, “Taking Control”, had a fantastic response. Harry McInley, the podcast manager, left Tiasha and I to our own devices and the conversation flowed between mother and daughter, with revelations on how Tiasha is coping with MS. If you haven’t, I suggest you have a listen. December brings another podcast from a woman who was diagnosed in 2017 and has decided to decline all types of treatment and is managing her MS by herself. Look out for the release date.
I will be live, talking with Ridge Radio on Wednesday 21st December from 10am. The show will include stories, discussions, charity updates and plenty of music. All Ridge Radio shows are accessible through the Ridge Radio phone app, directly through the internet or telling Alexa to “play Ridge Radio”.
Walton Heath Golf Club held their annual dinner and donated £850 to Sportin MS. Once again, our gratitude goes to Richard Prophet, the club Captain. In Memory of Christopher Davies who sadly passed away before he was able to fulfil his more than generous donation of cooking for 6 guests, we held a very successful evening in his name and hope to continue to keep him part of fundraising for Sportin MS. Watch this space.
